Delivery of goods occurs when the goods are placed alongside the vessel (e.g., on a quay or a lighter) nominated by the buyer at the named port of shipment or in case of string sale (series sale) by procuring the goods so delivered. If no exact packing point has been indicated by the purchaser, and if there several points available, the supplier may select the point that best garbs its purpose.
